Since Wasteland Workshop is mostly so you can capture enemies like Pokemon and have them fight to the death. You will need to use the cages to capture enemies. The small cages are for cats, dogs, mole rats, and mutant hounds. The medium cages are for feral ghouls, gunners, insects (blood bugs, bloat flies, etc.), raiders, and super mutants. The large cages are for brahmin, deathclaws, mirelurks, radscorpions, ragstags, and yao guai.
Now the Beta Wave Emitter can be used to keep some of the creatures non-hostile but not all. Deathclaws, radscorpions, ragstags, mutant hounds, mole rats, and yao guai will be non-hostile if the beta wave emitter is used. Cats, dogs will always be non-hostile. Gunners, raiders, and super mutants will always be hostile.
After caging your emenies you can now make them fight to death in the arena you made. So there will be a red and a blue arena platform. You can place them down and assign an enemy to them. You can also assign setters to a platform. So you could have two setters fighting or two caged enemies fighting or a setters and a caged enemy to fight. Now note that once to set something to a platform the will be hostile. Mostly hostile to other thing on the other platform. So you might want to make sure that you use a powered door and a gate to separate them until your a ready see the fight.
